Nominations for the Northern ward by-election closed at midday today. Six people will contest the vacant seat, with Debra Magner withdrawing last week.
The Candidates are:
Voting will open on Thursday 26 January and close at 12 noon on Friday 17 February 2023. Voters in the Northern Ward will receive voting packs that can be returned by post or to the Council’s Customer Service Centre at 36 Weld Street Hokitika during office hours between Thursday 26 January and close at 12 noon on Friday 17 February 2023.
