The Mahinapua Rail bridge on the West Coast Wilderness Trail will be closed from next Tuesday afternoon (25th June) for a period of 8 weeks while contractors undertake maintenance works.
Scaffolding is expected to be put in place from Wednesday and contractors on-site from the following Monday (30th).
A detour will be in place and a short section of the state highway will need to be used by riders.
