Council wishes to advise that Jackson River Road (Not to be confused with Haast-Jackson Bay Road) will be closed for road works at the Lake Ellery Bridge for the week 15-20 December 2025. This closure is to allow for heavy machinery to operate without risk to the public, it is also in line with the new risk-based approach of the NZ Guide to Temporary Traffic Management.
