Westland District Council is excited to announce that local tickets for Wildfoods 2027 are now on sale, giving West Coast residents the opportunity to secure their place at one of New Zealand's most iconic events.
Locals can purchase their tickets from the Hokitika Westland isite, Greymouth isite, or Westport isite in person, alternatively via phone (037556166), or by email (enquiries@hokitikainfo.co.nz) to take advantage of a special local ticket price of just $30. This offer is available until 30 November 2026.
Wildfoods has long been a celebration of the unique spirit of the West Coast, bringing together locals and visitors for a day packed with wild food experiences, live entertainment, colourful costumes, community pride, and unforgettable memories.
Festival organisers are encouraging residents to get in early, gather their friends and family, and start planning their costumes for what promises to be another spectacular event.
Westland District Council Chief Executive Barbara Phillips says the local ticket release is an important milestone in the lead-up to the festival.
"Wildfoods is more than just a festival – it's a celebration of our community, our unique environment, and the adventurous spirit that defines the West Coast. We encourage locals to secure their tickets early and be part of another incredible Wildfoods experience."
