Westland District Council has investigated the recent comments made on Facebook regarding a dog control matter. Following a review of the body camera footage, we can confirm that the accusations cannot be substantiated.
All of our Animal Control Officers carry Council-issued identification, which they present when entering a property, and they operate from clearly signwritten vehicles.
