South Westland Rubbish Removals are currently operating a temporary waste & recycling service at 74 Cook Flat Road next to the church.
Collection and removal is a mobile truck operation.
Monday 12:00 noon until 1:30pm
Thursday 2:30 until 4:00pm
Council is working through alternative solutions to establish another permanent location.
The community is advised that dumping of materials at this site outside these operating hours is an offence and perpetrators will be fined.

- The Committee adopted their Terms of Reference
- The Committee discussed resolved to replace the Reserves and Environs Committee with a Reserves, Parks and Environment Sub-Committee, which will have a wider focus. Parks and recreation areas will also be included in the sub-committee’s scope.

Purpose of Meeting
Applications are now open for the Mayoral Relief Fund for any Westland District residents, ratepayers, business owners, and not-for-profit organisations who have suffered financial or emotional hardship as a result of the December 2019 weather event.
In order to be considered, applications must be received by 31 January 2020. Applicants will be advised of funding determinations by 20 February 2020.
